Our StoryOUR STORY
On March 19, 2023, a tragic accident changed our lives forever. My brother Gedion and his wife Ruth were struck by a wrong-way driver, leaving behind their three beautiful children.
In the midst of shock, grief, and unanswered questions, we were surrounded by God’s grace, community, and an unshakable desire to help others going through the same kind of loss. That’s when Light Up the Night was born — to be a beacon of hope for children thrust into darkness without warning.
